Privacy notice | SafeEra Academy

SafeEra HSE Consulting and Technologies is the data controller for SafeEra Academy. We handle personal data in line with Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).

What we collect

Your name, email address, mobile number, employer and work sector.
Your course progress, assessment results and certificates.
Payment references from Paystack. We never see or store your card or Mobile Money PIN.

Why we use it

To run your account, courses and certificates.
To send renewal reminders by SMS and email.
To let anyone holding your certificate number confirm that it is genuine. The verification page shows only your name, the course, and the issue and expiry dates.

Who we share it with

Service providers that host the platform or deliver payments, email and SMS, under agreements that protect your data. If your employer pays for your training, they can see your progress and certificates for that training.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is open, and certificate records for at least 7 years so they can still be verified.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data by writing to academy@safeeraghana.com.
